Reading the Word of God with anticipation that the Word will meet you there. I do this daily. I don't despise the routine when it doesn't produce the results I think I need or desire. God gives us what we need when we meet with Him. There is a goodness in finding contentment in that. Lectio Divina is a great practice for this.
