Excellent thoughts. The pandemic has given us so much to think about. The Church has to be more connected in caring for people. I think your categorization of churches is generally correct. There are churches that don't fit those categories well though. The Church should never be defined, right or left, by how we acclimate to Caesar. I wrote a piece yesterday on why we all need to stop outsourcing our civic and social responsibilities to the State. The Church especially should be defined by her creed and loving witness of compassion to the world.
